Welcome to House Church Of Acts
We are a house church in Raleigh, North Carolina.

We are a house church in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Like the early Christian community - we gather at the homes of believers, focusing on the Word of God, with the primary focus on being a disciple and to make disciples. Our House Church is Shepherded by Elders.
The record in the book of Acts tells us that 'They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, prayer and the fellowship... They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.

Belief
We believe that all the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, and that they are the infallible rule of faith and practice
2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Our Sermons
We are planning to cover the Epistles of the Bible.. we will start with 1 John today
The word Epistle comes from the Greek word epistole that means letter or message
The Epistles of the Bible are all found in the New Testament. They include 21 of the New Testament’s 27 books, extending from Romans to Jude.
There are eight General Epistles (they were written to a “universal” audience) that include Hebrews, James, 1 and 2 Peter, 1, 2, and 3 John, and Jude

1.We believe that all the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, and that they are the infallible rule of faith and practice; Bible (66 books) is the inspired and infallible Word of God, the sole and sufficient guide for our life on earth.
2.We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all and governs all;
3.We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His humanity, His perfectly sinless life, His substitutionary death as an atonement for our sins, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father, and His personal return to the earth for His saints.
4.We believe all human beings are dead in sin and utterly lost and that the only way their sins can be forgiven is through repentance and through faith in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
5.We believe In the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit, whereby a person is born again to be a child of God and justification is by faith in Christ alone, the evidence of this being good works that glorify God.
6.We believe the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the Church: 1) baptism, and 2) the Lord’s Supper. We practice baptism by immersion and regularly celebrate Communion according to the Scriptural guidelines found in 1 Corinthians 11:17-34;
7.We believe In the necessity of being filled with the Holy Spirit continually in order to have power to be witnesses for Christ - by life and by word.
8.We believe that marriage is exclusively the union between one man and one woman in a lifetime commitment to each other (Genesis 2:23-24; Matthew 19:4-6). Marriage reflects the relationship between Christ and the Church and provides for procreation, intimate companionship, and we believe is the only basis for any form of sexual expression. We believe that any intimate sexual activity outside of marriage is sin (1 Thess. 4:3; Ephesians 5:3).
9.We await the pre-tribulation rapture of the Church, and we believe in the literal Second Coming of Christ with His saints to rule the earth, which will be personal and visible. This motivates us to holy living, heartfelt worship, committed service, diligent study of God’s word, regular fellowship, and participation in baptism and Communion;
10.We believe In the resurrection of the righteous to eternal life and the resurrection of the unrighteous to eternal damnation.
